Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova Gas Power in Birr seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and engineering teams. You will optimize processes, maintain BOMs, routings, and master data in ERP/PLM while driving SQDC improvements. Mentoring junior staff and coordinating with Design and Procurement are essential.

Strong experience with PLM (Teamcenter/Enovia) and SAP in a manufacturing setting is expected, along with Lean/CI know‑how and technical German/English communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical vocational training (Swiss EFZ or equivalent).
• Further education in a technical or management field (HF Technician, or B.Sc. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering).
• Experience with PLM (Teamcenter or Enovia) and SAP.
• Experience in manufacturing/operations or HGP engineering environment.
• Ability to read complex drawings and quality docs; lean methods knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain mBOM in PLM and link to ERP.
• Define routing steps, work instructions, and cycle times.
• Perform cost comparisons and support price updates.
• Coordinate PLM part definition changes.
• Maintain master data for tooling and consumables in ERP.
• Drive SQDC improvements across the operation.
• Mentor junior team members and transfer knowledge.
• Interface between Design, Procurement and Shop Floor to resolve bottlenecks.
