Job summary

Ärzte ohne Grenzen Schweiz / Médecins Sans Frontières Suisse seeks an Associate Philanthropy Advisor for private major donors in German-speaking Switzerland. You will secure and grow income from private major donors in the region and Liechtenstein, focusing on donors giving CHF 10’000 to CHF 20’000 annually.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Political Science, International Relations or other relevant areas.
• First professional experience in the non-profit sector or in the fields of marketing/sales/communication or client relationship management
• German mother tongue & very good English; French and Italian an asset.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and action plan: contribute to the yearly plan.
• Cultivation and stewardship: manage a portfolio of Major Donors and design donor journeys.
• Solicitation/ask: present asks to selected donors and follow up with strategy.
• Information and data management: work with CRM and support income forecasting.
• Others: participate in Community of Practice for Individual Major Donors.
