Job summary

Proton Technologies AG is seeking a Localization Lead to drive end-to-end localization across product, marketing and lifecycle content in multiple markets. You will own portfolio delivery, manage vendor relationships, and ensure culturally appropriate adaptation rather than literal translation, while coordinating with Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

You will also oversee budgeting, QA, and experimentation, working within a fast-paced product environment.

Qualifications

• Work in English daily (B2–C2) and have native or professional proficiency in at least one other language.
• Able to administer TMS and CAT tools and follow localization best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own localization projects end-to-end for your portfolio, coordinating with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing and Support.
• Run the localization machine by managing TMS/CAT workflows and asset maintenance for repeatable launches.
• Manage budget for your portfolio and monitor translation costs to flag drift early.
• Build and manage vendor bench: recruit, pre-qualify and test suppliers, maintain SLAs/NDAs, and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Ensure adaptation over transliteration for growth-focused content including lifecycle emails and landing pages.
• Be the reference point for stakeholders across Product, UX, Marketing, Development and Support.
• Ship experiments with CRO, frame localization hypotheses, and analyze results within the growth framework.
