Job summary

Angst+Pfister Group seeks a Leader People Development to define group-wide learning strategy and drive the A+P Academy LMS. You will design digital content, lead the People Development team, and coordinate onboarding and leadership programs across the organization in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a university degree in a related field, 5+ years in L&D, and strong intercultural communication skills in German and English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Corporate Training, or Talent Development.
• Experience in an international industrial or technical environment.
• Proven experience with learning management systems; Avendoo is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in modern learning methods, training design, project management, and stakeholder management.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Inspiring and hands-on leader with intercultural competence in an international environment.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Group's People Development and learning strategy.
• Drive the strategic development of the group-wide A+P Academy (LMS) with platform strategy, governance, UX, master data, and content architecture.
• Design and continuously improve digital learning content and training programs with SMEs and external partners.
• Lead, develop, and manage the People Development team.
• Coordinate onboarding, Welcome Days, classroom and virtual training, and leadership development programs across business channels.
• Establish learning standards, evaluate training effectiveness, and develop KPIs and reports.

YOUR MISSION

• Define and implement the Group's People Development and learning strategy, aligning training initiatives with business priorities and organizational needs.
• Drive the strategic development of the group‑wide A+P Academy (LMS), taking ownership of platform strategy, governance, user experience, master data management, and content architecture.
• Design and continuously improve digital learning content and training programs in collaboration with subject matter experts, business leaders, and external partners.
• Lead, develop, and manage the People Development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate group‑wide onboarding, Welcome Days, classroom and virtual training, and leadership development programs, ensuring a consistent and engaging learning experience across all business channels.
• Establish learning standards, evaluate training effectiveness, and develop learning KPIs and management reports to measure impact and identify optimization opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; further qualifications in Learning & Development, adult education, coaching, or learning technologies are an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Corporate Training, or Talent Development, including the development and implementation of strategic learning initiatives.
• You bring experience in an international industrial or technical environment.
• Proven experience with learning management systems and digital learning solutions (Avendoo is an advantage).
• Strong expertise in modern learning methods, adult education, training design, project management, and stakeholder management.
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a passion for innovative, technology‑based learning approaches.
• Inspiring and hands‑on leader with experience in developing people and turning concepts into tangible results, combined with intercultural competence and confidence in an international environment.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
