Zusammenfassung

Lightium AG seeks a Photonics System Architect to lead system-level design for Lightium’s proprietary TFLN platform. You will define architectures with customers from concept to schematic and layout, while ensuring manufacturability and testability.

The role involves close collaboration with R&D teams and external partners to deliver high-speed photonic integrated circuits. You will manage requirements tracking, stay current with photonics innovations, and mentor colleagues.

Qualifikationen

  • 5+ years of RF and optical system design in integrated photonics (PICs).
  • Experience with TFLN, silicon photonics, SiN, InP or related platforms.
  • Familiar with IEEE standards (e.g., 802.3ba family) is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Define system concepts and architectures from customer requirements for on-chip optical communications.
  • Drive schematic design and layout using state-of-the-art EDA tools; run system- and circuit-level simulations.
  • Coordinate with drivers, packaging houses, DSP partners, and customers to ensure manufacturability and testability.
  • Document procedures, train colleagues, and contribute to Lightium’s IP portfolio.
