Zusammenfassung

Lightium AG is seeking an IP and Patent Engineer to lead patent drafting and IP management for its proprietary TFLN technology. You will drive the expansion of Lightium’s patent portfolio and secure freedom-to-operate for Lightium and its customers.

You will collaborate with R&D teams and external patent attorneys to craft high-quality patent applications. Required: PhD preferred, 3+ years in photonics or integrated photonics, and proficiency with PatSnap and PatOffice.

Qualifikationen

• PhD preferred in communications, integrated photonics, electrical engineering or physics.
• Experience drafting and filing patent applications in photonics.
• Track record growing patent portfolios and managing IP processes.

Aufgaben

• IP extraction and disclosure drafting with R&D and design teams.
• Interact with internal and external patent attorneys for filing.
• Monitor competitor IP and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Track docket numbers of patent families and manage timelines.
• Collaborate with R&D from design to testing; travel to law firms as needed.
• Document findings and establish SOPs; contribute to IP portfolio innovation.
