Job summary

Lightium AG seeks a senior Head of Quality and Industrialization to drive the path from development to qualified, high‑yield volume production of photonic integrated circuits. You will build the first quality management system, lead ISO 9001 certification efforts, and oversee industrialization, process transfer, and supplier quality across external fabs and back‑end partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in quality and industrialization in semiconductors.
• Experience leading ISO 9001 certification and audits.
• Experience managing external fabs, foundries and back‑end subcontractors.
• Proven track record of building a quality/industrialization function in a startup or scale‑up.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the first QMS sized for a semiconductor startup.
• Own internal and external audit programs and CAPA loops.
• Drive ISO 9001 readiness with mid‑2027 certification target.
• Industrialize TFLN processes from development to repeatable production.
• Lead qualification of the 200 mm TFLN line for production.
• Manage foundry governance, supplier quality agreements, and scorecards.
