Zusammenfassung

FIA in Geneva invites an F1 Augmented Reality Project Manager to lead a pioneering AR/HUD safety programme. You will steer the technical roadmap, coordinate suppliers and teams, and ensure rigorous validation from concept to prototype and testing.

This is a hands-on leadership role demanding deep expertise in vehicle electronics, sensors and safety-critical systems. You will challenge engineering proposals, manage integration risks and drive complex decisions within the FIA Technical Department,

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years of engineering and project management experience in complex electronic, control or safety-critical systems.
• Strong technical knowledge across vehicle electronics, sensors, positioning tech and HUD-related areas.
• Experience coordinating multi-supplier engineering programmes and cross-functional teams.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Aufgaben

• Define and own the multi-year technical roadmap, milestones and deliverables.
• Structure the programme across helmet/visor displays, HUD, sensors, positioning and data fusion.
• Lead from assessment to prototype development, integration and testing.
• Governance through risk, dependencies, resources and milestones.
• Coordinate suppliers, research partners and FIA stakeholders.
• Translate safety goals into technical requirements and validation plans.
• Address regulatory, standardisation and implementation roadmaps.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership and governance bodies.
