Zusammenfassung

The FIA invites a seasoned F1 Augmented Reality Project Manager to lead a multi-year safety technology programme from Geneva, with some consideration for London. You will act as technical leader and systems integrator, coordinating suppliers, research partners, Formula 1 teams and FIA stakeholders.

This is a hands-on, technically demanding role requiring expertise to challenge engineering proposals, manage integration risks and drive complex decisions across hardware, software, and driver‑facing

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field and 7–10 years of experience in engineering and project management.
• Experience coordinating complex engineering programmes with multiple suppliers and partners.
• Strong knowledge across vehicle electronics, sensors, data processing, and safety-critical systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical workshops and reconcile competing requirements.

Aufgaben

• Technical programme leadership: define and own multi-year technical roadmap, milestones and deliverables.
• Systems integration and coordination: act as technical systems integrator across on-car electronics, sensors and driver equipment; develop architectures and validation plans.
• Supplier and stakeholder management: coordinate suppliers and research partners; challenge proposals; align Formula 1 teams and FIA stakeholders.
• Testing, human factors and risk management: coordinate simulation, lab testing and vehicle testing; develop validation protocols; assess human factors and risk.
• Regulatory and strategic roadmap: assess regulatory implications; support roadmaps and phased implementation; produce senior leadership reports.
