Zusammenfassung

The FIA seeks a New Energy Safety and Rescue Manager, based in Geneva, to strengthen operational safety for emerging vehicle technologies. You will work with technical, sporting, medical, and organizer teams to develop rescue concepts, regulations, and training aligned with international standards.

You bring 10+ years in rescue operations or crisis management, plus expertise in electric/hydrogen tech, and you will travel as needed to support FIA championships worldwide.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with significant relevant experience.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field is highly desirable.
• 10 years experience in rescue operations, emergency response, or incident command/crisis management.
• Proven experience with electric vehicles, high-voltage systems, battery safety, or hydrogen technologies.
• Experience developing operational procedures, training programmes, or safety regulations; motorsport rescue ops experience is desirable.
• Hydrogen safety and emergency response training is highly recommended.

Aufgaben

• Act as safety reference point for operational risks with high-voltage and hydrogen technologies.
• Oversee development and implementation of FIA safety regulations and procedures for new technologies.
• Coordinate with FIA departments, ASNs, organizers, and manufacturers on safety requirements.
• Manage the network of FIA Electrical and Hydrogen Safety Delegates.
• Oversee development of training programmes for rescue teams and officials.
• Contribute to risk assessments and validation of emergency response concepts for new technologies.
• Support national competitions with new energies safety regulations.
• Collaborate with FIA Medical Affairs to ensure rescue procedures and safety standards.
