Pilatus Aircraft Ltd in Stans, Switzerland is seeking a Team Lead Composite Engineering for New Projects to drive the design, analysis and certification of advanced composite structures across new aircraft programs.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with suppliers, manage budgets and risk, and push manufacturing and certification through entry into service.

Requires a Master’s in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years in composites, with fluent English and German.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in composite structures development and certification.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities across design, testing, manufacturing, certification and implementation.
• Fluency in English and German (B2 or higher).

Aufgaben

• Technical oversight of composite structures development for new products from requirements through certification and entry into service.
• Coordinate design, analysis and evaluation of projects respecting standards, procedures and program requirements.
• Liaise with stakeholders from design to manufacturing and certification, including tooling, maintainability, materials and processes.
• Report progress, budget status and risk assessments to senior management.
• Monitor technology advances and lead implementation studies for component improvements.
• Manage internal and external suppliers.
