Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Composite Technician for Basel, Switzerland to support an aircraft interiors programme at Basel Airport. The role focuses on wet lay-up, moulds, and precision composite manufacturing in aerospace settings.

You will read engineering drawings, cut and machine honeycomb, foam, Lexan, and operate routers and saws while maintaining high aviation standards and Lean manufacturing practices. Start: 03 August 2026; End: 31 August 2026, Monday-Friday, 42 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Previous composite manufacturing experience.
• Experience with epoxy resin.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using workshop power tools.
• Aircraft interiors or aerospace experience is highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Manufacture composite aircraft interior components.
• Wet lay-up using epoxy resin and dry fabrics.
• Produce moulds and composite panels.
• Cut and machine honeycomb, foam and Lexan materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Perform trimming, finishing and minor repairs.
• Use workshop machinery including routers and saws.
• Maintain high quality and aviation standards.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing.
