Tradition is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to be based in Lausanne. The role collaborates with business teams to understand workflows, redesign processes, and deliver AI-enabled solutions end-to-end.

You will own projects through discovery, design, build, deployment and ongoing improvement, leveraging AI agents and LLMs via vLLM. Responsibilities include scaling deployments across regions, establishing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring model performance, and delivering practical documentation

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years as a software engineer with stakeholder interaction.
• Strong Python coding and maintainable language.

• Collaborate with teams to understand workflows and scope end-to-end solutions.
• Map and redesign processes, automate activities, and drive measurable improvements.
• Own solutions through full delivery lifecycle from discovery to deployment and improvement.
• Build applications and AI agents using the platform and on-prem LLMs with vLLM.
• Support deployment across regions considering infra, regulatory and compliance needs.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable releases.
