You will work in a Linux/Docker environment, contribute to AI-assisted development, and lead migration to shared components while ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Expert-level Python with library and API design experience.
• Strong software design fundamentals: patterns, modularity, abstraction.
• Proficient in Git, unit & integration testing, CI/CD, linting, type checking.
• Experience with Linux and containerised environments (Docker); Kubernetes familiarity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working understanding of machine learning principles.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and guardrails.

Aufgaben

• Audit existing projects to identify recurring software requirements and opportunities for standardisation.
• Consolidate strong implementations into versioned, documented internal packages with clear interfaces.
• Define and maintain software strategy, prioritising shared libraries and components.
• Design and evaluate internal tooling with stable APIs; build solutions when needed.
• Support transition of projects from proof of concept to production; bridge DS and DE.
• Review technical designs to promote shared components and maintainability.
• Lead migration of projects onto shared components while balancing timelines.
• Mentor the team on SOLID, modular design, API design and managing change.
• Own project templates with CI/CD, linting, type checking and tests pre-configured.
• Oversee AI-assisted development configuration across the team.
• Collaborate with DS/DE to translate standards into infrastructure.
