Job summary

ELCA Group seeks a Senior AI Engineer to lead data science and AI/ML projects, taking responsibility from requirements to delivery. You will model business problems, select appropriate methods, and build data pipelines for training and inference.

You will create, maintain and optimize MLOps pipelines, communicate results to stakeholders, collaborate with IT and engineering teams, and supervise junior data scientists while traveling within Romandie.

Qualifications

• Degree from a technical university is required.
• At least 5 years of AI field experience in data science or ML roles.
• Strong Python skills and experience with common ML frameworks and data tools.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and big data platforms is advantageous.
• Fluent in French and English; able to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take technical lead in data science and AI/ML projects from design to delivery.
• Model complex business problems with machine learning and optimize models.
• Build data pipelines for training and inference; develop MLOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary IT and engineering teams.
• Supervise junior data scientists and share knowledge.
