Scalera, an ETH Zurich spin-off, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to blend engineering, product, and customer success. You’ll analyze tender workflows at client sites across Switzerland, Austria, and Germany, then design and deploy automations and AI-powered workflows within our platform.

You’ll travel regularly to customer locations, work closely with executives, and ship end-to-end solutions while upholding high engineering standards and close collaboration with the product and CS teams.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or product engineer in B2B SaaS or technical environments.
• Ability to understand messy real‑world workflows and translate requirements into production software.
• Customer-facing communication; capable of running workshops and demos.
• Ownership mindset to take ambiguous problems from discovery to shipped solution.

Aufgaben

• Analyze tender workflows with customers to identify automation opportunities.
• Travel on-site to customer locations across the DACH region and embed with teams.
• Build and deploy customer-specific automations, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Prototype, validate in production, and generalize use cases into platform features.
• Bridge customers and the core product team, feeding insights and edge cases.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Run workshops, demos, and technical deep-dives with customers.
