Job summary

SFB in Zürich area seeks an IT Generalist to support teachers, participants and staff with hardware, software and network issues, plus ERP (Tocco) support and cloud services administration.

You'll assist the Head of IT in digital transformation and the campus platform's development, with opportunities to lead sub-projects. German is essential; English good, French a plus; travel to external locations and occasional on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• It professional with experience in user support and relevant IT education/training.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Teams, Entra, Intune, Azure, Tocco, Moodle and Unifi; eager to learn more.
• Precise, structured, and solution-oriented with quick comprehension.
• Team player with strong social and organizational skills.
• Strong German, good English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for assignments at external locations and some on-call duties Friday evenings and Saturday mornings at semester start.

Your Challenge

• Supporting teachers, participants and staff in the use of IT equipment and applications as well as in solving hardware and network problems
• Installation, maintenance and administration of hardware and software as well as cloud services
• Support and representation of the application managers ERP (Tocco), processing support requests, implementing further developments together with external partners
• Supporting the Head of IT in digital transformation and further development of the campus platform, opportunity to take on sub-projects

Your Competence

• IT generalist with professional experience in support and relevant training/continuing education
• Proficient in handling part of our tech stack (MS Office, MS Teams, Entra, Intune, Azure, Tocco, Moodle, Unifi) as well as willingness to learn new technologies
• Precise, structured and solution-oriented working style, quick comprehension
• Team player with high social competence and strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills in German, good English skills, French an advantage
• Willingness to travel for assignments at our external locations as well as occasional on-call duty on Friday evening and Saturday morning at the start of the semester
