Who is Hiring is seeking a reliable IT Support Specialist to be the primary contact for employees facing technical difficulties, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and keep productivity high. You will deploy workstations, manage user accounts, and support security with a focus on clear documentation and strong customer service.

The role covers Windows/macOS, VPN, and basic network troubleshooting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a help desk, service desk, or technical support role.
• Deep familiarity with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless routers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
• Certifications in at least one area (preferred but not required).

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for local and remote users.
• Set up, configure, and deploy new employee workstations, laptops, and devices.
• Install, update, and maintain operating systems and core business apps.
• Manage user accounts, MFA, passwords, and permissions.
• Monitor, prioritize, and document support requests in the ticketing system.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including VPN access and Wi-Fi.
• Create and update internal knowledge base articles and how-to guides.
