Job summary

Lonza in Basel-Basel-Stadt is seeking an IT M&A Transaction Manager to lead end-to-end IT deal execution for mergers, acquisitions, and carve-outs—from due diligence through Day 1 readiness, integration, separation, and TSA exits. You will work with stakeholders, experts, and vendors to protect continuity, manage deal risks, and build scalable playbooks that accelerate value realization.

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing full IT transaction lifecycle—from due diligence through Day 1 readiness to post-close integration,separation and TSA exit.
• Deep technical grasp spanning cloud, infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and core enterprise applications (ERP, QMS, LIMS, CRM, DMS).
• Strong expertise in financial modeling for deal costs—including standalone costs, stranded costs, synergy targets, technical debt, and TSA pricing.
• Hands-on experience structuring TSA/SSA service catalogs, defining SLAs/KPIs, managing vendor transitions, and executing exit strategies.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, data integrity, and GxP/CSV regulatory standards within life sciences or CDMO environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT deal activities from due diligence to TSA exit.
• Coordinate cross-functional IT teams, external advisors, and vendors to execute integration/separation roadmaps.
• Define target-state IT operating models and Day 1 readiness plans for identity/access, networks, cyber controls, and critical applications.
• Quantify IT deal risks, one-time costs, stranded costs, and technical debt to build robust business cases and realize cost-synergy opportunities.
• Capture lessons learned to build scalable IT M&A playbooks and repeatable blueprints for future transactions.
