Job summary

MSC Cruises is seeking an Integration Architect to own the technical design of the Integration Platforms domain. You will craft end-to-end integration solutions across enterprise systems, translating business needs into scalable designs and APIs.

Lead patterns, data flows, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality integrations. Fluency in English is required; MuleSoft expertise and cloud experience are essential for success in a dynamic, globally connected

Qualifications

• Proven experience in integration architecture and development across middleware and API platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Experience with cloud environments and hybrid integrations scenarios.
• Experience architecting multi-platform integrations on Microsoft Azure.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages considered an advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS/IT; MuleSoft certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
• Good communication skills with stakeholders.

JOB PURPOSE

Own and drive the technical design and execution of the Integration Platforms domain, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality integration solutions across all systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions across enterprise systems and applications
• Translate business requirements into practical and scalable integration designs
• Define integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and system interactions based on project needs
• Provide hands-on support during design, development, and implementation phases
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to enable smooth system integration
• Contribute to integration best practices

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

• Proven experience in integration architecture and development across middleware and API platforms with solid knowledge of integration design principles and patterns
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Experience with cloud environments and hybrid integrations scenarios
• Strong experience in architecting multi-platform integrations on Microsoft Azure, connecting cloud, on-premise, and SaaS systems through API Management, messaging, and event-driven patterns.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages considered an advantage
• Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent; MuleSoft certifications preferred
• Solid knowledge of API-led connectivity and integration patterns
• Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple systems and applications

VISA REQUIREMENTS

• Right to work in Italy.

WHAT WE OFFER

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.
Contract
- Type of contract: Permanent
- Hybrid working model: 2 days per week remotely
- Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): -Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l-armamento privato- - sez. personale di terra
- Gross annual salary (RAL): between -45.000 - -52.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments
- Meal vouchers: worth -8 per on-site working day
The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate-s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
