MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA in Geneva is seeking a Voyage Calculation Analyst to join the finance team. You will be responsible for the calculation and consolidation of the financial results for specific trades and support cross-functional analysis.

The role offers exposure to the core business with opportunities to develop expertise in voyage calculations, BI tools, and collaboration with IT. Fluency in English and French is required, and a proactive, precise mindset is essential.

Formación

• Finance or Business Management degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong command of English and French.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and increase reliability of financial information to make trade results transparent.
• Review and update voyage calculation parameters for each vessel on a trade line.
• Control revenues and cost allocation to calculate voyage results.
• Prepare service reports twice a month for Senior Management and liner department.
• Analyze variances using analytical reporting tools.
• Participate in transversal analysis under Deputy CFO supervision.
• Coordinate and reconcile results and data within the team.
• Improve collaboration between IT and BI tools (BI, applications).

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Voyage Calculation Manager, you will be exposed to the core of ourbusiness from a financial perspective. You will be responsible for the calculation,consolidation of the financial results for specific trades, participate in transversal analysis, andtake part in coordination and reconciliation projects. This 360-degree position will allow youto quickly evolve in the other Finance branches.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Voyage Calculation Analyst, you will:

• Analyze and increase the reliability of financial information to make trade results astransparent as possible.
• Review and update different parameters to process voyage calculations of eachvessel on a trade line through the MSC Voyage Calculation Software.
• Control and ensure appropriate revenues and respective cost allocation to calculatethe financial results of a defined voyage.
• Prepare a report by service twice a month that will be for the Senior Managementand liner department. Ensure these trade results are accurate and understandable tomake room for the optimization of the Management's decision making.
• Analyze variances using analytical reporting tools.
• Participate in transversal analysis under supervision of the Deputy CFO.
• As part of a team, coordinate and reconciliate results and data.
• Participate in improving our tools collaboration with IT department. (BI, andapplication)

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Qualifications in Finance or Business Management.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Finance or commercial background.
• Advanced Excel level / Power Bi.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Commitment to a high level of work accuracy and precision.
• Capacity to drive change.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• An open-minded and flexible.
• Perfect command of both written and spoken English and French.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Position located in Geneva.
• Full Time & Permanent Contract.
• No remote working.
• EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit is required.
