Job summary

coni + partner ag, a Zurich-based consultancy, seeks an International Tax Manager PE Investments to lead international tax matters for private equity funds (EU & US) and oversee tax reporting for investors.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in law or economics with advanced tax training (LL.M.) and experience at a major firm with fund projects; fluent English is essential. You will monitor CRS/FATCA, assist on tax structuring, and liaise with investors and auditors.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in law or economics.
• Advanced training in tax law (LL.M.).
• Professional experience, ideally at PwC, EY, Deloitte or KPMG, or a renowned tax firm with fund industry projects (e.g. UCITS, AIF).
• Expertise in EU and US taxes as well as CRS and FATCA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for international tax matters (EU & US) related to private equity funds, including reviewing and coordinating annual tax returns for various countries and organizing tax reporting for investors.
• Supporting investor relations teams with tax provisions
• Responsible for tax compliance with CRS and FATCA, including annual filings and reviewing the relevant forms
• Providing support to front-office teams with tax due diligence and structuring in connection with product development, transactions, and fund investments
• Collaborating on and monitoring process optimization for tax controls and operational procedures
• Monitoring and analysing changes in tax law to assess their relevance to the entire company.
