Job summary

coni + partner ag, a Zurich-based consultancy, invites applications for a Tax Specialist & Compliance Private Funds (US/EU). This senior role supports front-office investment professionals in tax matters related to private-market investments, including private equity, credit, property, and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Law with tax specialization and has experience at a Big 4 firm, a major fund manager, or an international law firm.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law with a tax specialization.
• Experience as tax specialist at a Big 4 firm, a major fund manager, or an international law firm.
• Experience advising institutional and private investors.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border tax matters related to fund investments.
• Analytical, detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Support front-office investment professionals in negotiations with clients on tax matters relating to private-market investments.
• Provide structured explanations of complex tax issues relating to the investment portfolio to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external law firms, tax advisers, and IT/Business Analysis teams to optimize tax services and monitor changes in tax legislation.
