Job summary

Octapharma is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager for its International Business Units in Lachen, CH. You will support three IBUs in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, plan and monitor campaigns, and coordinate with affiliates and Corporate Communications.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in digital marketing or life sciences, 3–5 years of pharma digital marketing experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Life Sciences, Communications or related discipline.
• A scientific, medical or life‑science background is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, ideally within pharmaceutical or regulated healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including websites, analytics and tracking tools.
• Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the three International Business Units in developing and implementing digital components of their medical-marketing strategies, and plan, execute and monitor digital campaigns across relevant channels in collaboration with affiliates and Corporate Communications.
• Act as the technical and operational contact for IBU content on global websites and digital platforms, coordinating implementation and maintenance in line with approved content, brand requirements, strategic objectives and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
• Collaborate closely with affiliates by providing strategic guidance, practical support and hands‑on training to facilitate the adoption of global IBU digital solutions and appropriate local adaptation.
• Track, analyse and report on key performance indicators for digital initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimise reach, engagement and overall performance.
• Maintain and update relevant IBU intranet pages and materials, ensuring internal information remains accurate and up to date.
• Translate IBU-approved scientific and medical content into appropriate digital formats and channels, supporting newsletters, digital platforms, congresses, symposia and other IBU activities as required.
