Job summary

Octapharma AG in Lachen, Switzerland, is seeking a Group Senior Manager for IT Sales, Marketing & Communications Applications. You will lead global application roadmaps, partner with Marketing and Communications, and shape digital initiatives across regulated life sciences environments.

You will drive demand, solution selection, delivery, service, and operations while managing budgets and supplier relationships. Fluent English and international travel are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, information systems, or related field; postgraduate study is an advantage.
• Significant experience in IT business partnering and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of CRM, Marketing, and Communications apps; life sciences familiarity is a plus.
• Experience leading application roadmaps, demand, solution selection, implementation, service transition and operations.
• Global programs: budgets, contracts, supplier management; balancing value, risk and cost.
• Working knowledge of architecture, integrations, data and analytics, cloud/SaaS, cybersecurity, privacy and IT service management.
• Understanding of responsible AI, automation, governance, adoption and value measurement; GxP or regulated records experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical and change leadership; fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing and Communications to translate priorities into roadmaps and digital initiatives.
• Own the application portfolio lifecycle from demand, analysis, solution selection, delivery, support, improvement and retirement.
• Lead demand and service management, including incidents, changes, releases, user support and service performance.
• Maintain the portfolio roadmap and drive process harmonisation, integration, data quality, reporting and user experience improvements.
• Lead or oversee CRM, tender management, commercial analytics, digital marketing, communications, websites and patient-facing applications.
• Analyze and shape data, analytics and generative AI use cases with Data & AI and specialist teams.
• Ensure solutions meet architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, data governance, IT compliance, quality and GxP requirements.
• Coordinate business, IT, global and local teams and suppliers; manage outcomes, plans, risks, dependencies and decisions.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, budgets and continuous improvement; advise leadership on technology opportunities and priorities.
