Hitachi Energy is seeking a Team Leader Incoming Quality Control to lead a 15–20 member IQC team, shaping inspection processes for high‑voltage GIS and GCB materials and collaborating with operations, supply chain, suppliers, and customers.

You will ensure adherence to standards, orchestrate fast responses to quality issues, and drive continuous improvement using data and KPIs across functions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in quality management or related functions.
• Leadership experience or strong interest in developing people.
• Experience in quality mgmt, manufacturing ops, lean, continuous improvement and visual management.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
• SAP knowledge, ideally SAP S/4HANA.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a team of 15–20 IQC professionals and drive the function's ops and strategy.
• Act as site responsible and ensure adherence to the relevant standards.
• Serve as the main contact for urgent quality issues and ensure fast, effective communication with operations, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop and improve inspection plans for incoming materials.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement using data, KPIs, and visual management tools.
• Build relationships across the organization and strengthen collaboration with stakeholders.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and support quality professionals with succession planning.
• Ensure measurement equipment is maintained, calibrated, and available for reliable inspection.
• Drive improvement initiatives with production, logistics, R&D, sourcing and others to achieve sustainable quality improvements.
