Job summary

Medartis is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations in Basel. You will manage full employee life-cycle, onboarding, policy administration, and payroll across multiple payrolls.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient HR processes and a positive employee experience. The role requires strong organizational skills, conflict management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related preferred or 2-3 years HR experience.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and HR software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate onboarding for new hires and educate on HR policies.
• Handle administrative tasks for new hires and audit for accuracy.
• Maintain employee files and collaborate with external providers.
• Investigate complaints and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Produce reports on general HR activity and support recruitment processes.
• Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and performance programs.
• Ensure legal compliance with HR regulations and update policies accordingly.
• Oversee payroll processing across relevant frequencies.
• Support absence, health issues, and employee relations matters.
