Job summary

Swissquote is creating a new Client Lifecycle Integrity department. As Associate-Director, you will lead a HNWI CLI team across onboarding, periodic reviews and due diligence, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Economics, or a related field; certification in Compliance Management is a strong asset.
• 5–7 years in client onboarding and periodic reviews, KYC/AML, or compliance operations within the financial industry.
• Leadership or team-lead experience is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss AML/KYC regulations (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB).
• Solid understanding of HNWI segment and enhanced due diligence requirements.
• Interest in process optimization, digital transformation and AI-enabled solutions; practical experience is an asset.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
• Strong leadership potential and focus on developing people.
• Ability to manage priorities and make risk-based decisions.
• Excellent command of English and French; German is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team’s activities, ensuring workload allocation, efficiency, quality, and SLAs.
• Oversee onboarding, periodic reviews and due diligence within scope, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify, assess, document and escalate risks in HNWI relationships; ensure high-quality client assessments.
• Prepare risk analyses and recommendations for senior management review and approval.
• Drive automation, data analytics and AI to streamline operations and improve decisions.
• Promote adoption of innovative technologies to enhance data quality and scalability.
• Use data-driven insights to strengthen risk assessment and decision-making.
• Establish and monitor operational and quality metrics; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and guide front-line teams on complex matters.
