Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) in Geneva seeks a strategic leader to head the Division for Strategies, Regions and Networks. You will oversee regional engagement, planning, and country programmes, aligning with national mine action strategies and donor requirements, while guiding staff and cross-divisional collaboration.

The role requires senior management experience in multi-stakeholder environments, programme budgeting, and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• Post-graduate degree in public administration, international relations, programme/project management, or related field.
• Project Management certification and/or proven project management skills.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead/launch and oversee geographically focused programmes and regional coordination.
• Oversee development of regional roadmaps for priority regions.
• Develop and manage country programmes in consultation with stakeholders.
• Translate country strategies into project plans and activity packages.
• Coordinate with other Heads of Division and Chief of Operations on delivery and planning.
• Monitor finances, risks, and ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget.
• Represent the Centre in external fora and engage with authorities, donors, and partners.
• Promote gender equality and inclusion within mine action programmes.
