Job summary

ITU, based in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks a strategic Head of the Organizational Design, Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition Division to lead a high-impact team within the HR Management Department. The role focuses on defining talent strategy, overseeing job classification, and expanding recruitment through global outreach to attract diverse, highly qualified staff.

The incumbent will drive workforce planning initiatives, partner programmes, and selection processes while ensuring alignment

Responsibilities

• Lead the Division's team, providing strategic direction to ensure effective services and project delivery, managing resources, and assessing performance.
• Lead organizational design and job classification activities, ensuring consistent grading and classification of job descriptions.
• Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy, expanding recruitment channels while upholding diversity and equal opportunity.
• Oversee ITU partnership programmes and participate in selection processes including panels and committees.
• Define workforce planning requirements and develop tools to align jobs with organizational needs.
• Provide training and coaching to recruitment staff on best practices in candidate assessment and selection.
