Job summary

Comet AG in Flamatt, CH is seeking a Head of Business Applications (non-ERP) to lead the Non-ERP Applications team and ensure reliable services across the group.

You will own the application landscape, including budgets, licenses and external partners, and drive the roadmap with business stakeholders and IT architects. Strong leadership and cross-border collaboration are essential to manage projects and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or comparable field.
• 7+ years of senior IT application management experience including people leadership.
• Strong knowledge of PLM, collaboration systems and IT application integration.
• Good understanding of business processes in industrial and R&D environments.
• Proven project and stakeholder management in an international environment.
• Excellent English; German is a plus; strategic mindset with hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Non-ERP Applications team and ensure reliable application services across the Comet Group (PLM, MS Office365, Jira/Confluence, HR and others)
• Own the application landscape, including budget, licenses, external partners and service providers
• Drive the application roadmap with business stakeholders and IT Architects
• Optimize business processes and ensure secure integration between applications and systems
• Act as a strategic partner and escalation point for business departments across the organization
• Lead projects, drive system improvements and ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
