Comet AG is seeking a Head of Sales Operations for the Plasma Control Technologies division, located at Flamatt (CH) or Penang (MY). You will build and lead a global Sales Operations team supporting capital equipment, spares, upgrades, and service activities.

You will oversee order management, pricing governance, forecasting, and data quality, driving improvements across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, or Supply Chain.
• Strong expertise in quote-to-collect, order execution, bookings, backlog, shipment planning, and revenue dependencies.
• Advanced systems knowledge; SAP S/4HANA experience and strong Excel skills.
• 5+ years of leadership in global or matrixed teams; German language skills are advantageous.

• Drive cross-functional process improvements and performance reporting with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Field Service.

Head of Sales Operations

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What You Will Do

• Build and lead a high-performing global Sales Operations team supporting capital equipment, spares, upgrades, and service activities
• Oversee global order management and quote-to-collect processes, ensuring compliance with contracts, company policies, export controls, and trade regulations
• Own Sales Operations data governance, including pricing, customer master data, product configuration, and overall data quality
• Improve forecasting, bookings and backlog visibility, shipment prioritization, and customer communication on delivery commitments
• Drive cross-functional process improvements and performance reporting in collaboration with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Field Service

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, or Supply Chain, ideally in semiconductor or capital equipment
• Strong expertise in quote-to-collect, order execution, bookings, backlog, shipment planning, and revenue dependencies
• Advanced systems knowledge; SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable, along with strong Excel skills
• 5+ years of leadership experience in global or matrixed teams; German language skills are a significant advantage
