Comet AG in Flamatt is seeking a Group Financial Accountant (80-100%) who combines a strong finance foundation with team spirit to support the Group Functions. You will own monthly group consolidation in Hyperion HFM, prepare IFRS reports, lead the year-end closing and assist the external audit, while advising subsidiaries on accounting policies and maintaining the Group Accounting Manual.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Hands-on month-end/year-end closing experience in Hyperion HFM or comparable system with IFRS reporting.
• Experience preparing IFRS financial statements and supporting external audits.
• Strong advisory skills guiding subsidiaries on accounting policies and reporting.

What You Will Do

• Own the monthly Group consolidation in Hyperion HFM, including intercompany profit elimination and key closing activities.


• Prepare external IFRS financial reporting and support management/Board presentations.

What You Bring

• A degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field; a CPA, Swiss/German Wirtschaftsprüfer, or equivalent international qualification is a plus.


• Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing in Hyperion HFM or a comparable consolidation system, as well as external IFRS reporting—ideally in an industrial environment.


• Proven expertise in preparing IFRS financial statements and Board-level reporting and supporting external audits.


• Strong advisory skills, with experience guiding subsidiaries on accounting policies, treatments, and reporting requirements.
