Job summary

Swissquote Bank is seeking an Associate Director for Existing Clients within Business Risk Management. You will lead BRM’s ongoing oversight and controls for corporate and institutional clients across Gland and Zurich, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and timely completion of reviews.

You will collaborate with Institutional Sales, Compliance and Legal, manage escalations, and drive process improvements to strengthen on-time completion of reviews and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in client periodic reviews, monitoring, or compliance operations in financial services.
• Experience in a leadership or team-lead role is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss regulatory requirements (FINMA, AMLA, CDB).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Existing Clients team’s operational and people management.
• Oversee periodic reviews across institutional client base.
• Coordinate with Sales to launch reviews on schedule and collect documents.
• Prepare materials for Executive Management committees.
• Identify risks and implement appropriate controls across the relationship lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Remediation, and Compliance on ad-hoc reviews.
• Own reporting on periodic reviews and controls metrics for senior management.
• Coordinate audits and monitoring exercises with second-line functions.
• Mentor and develop the team; drive recruitment and performance.
