Koch Minerals & Trading seeks an experienced European Head of Power to build and lead a new power desk within the Global Gas business. You will manage the power book and grow a team, driving desk strategy and analytics across European markets.

The role requires a proven track record in NWE power trading, deep knowledge of Southern Europe and/or Nordic markets, and a strong analytical mindset with leadership capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Strong leadership experience with team-building potential.
• Proven track record in NWE power trading and knowledge of Southern Europe or Nordic markets.
• Solid understanding of European power market fundamentals and flow-based market coupling.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and startup mentality.

Aufgaben

• Own the European power book and manage proprietary positions.
• Grow and lead the new Power desk within Global Gas.
• Communicate with the commercial team to shape desk strategy.
• Develop power analytics and future strategy.
• Provide fundamental research on power and gas markets.
• Build a small future team around the power desk.
