Job summary

avec compétence GmbH is seeking a Senior Robotics Deployment Lead to drive the integration of robotics and automation in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, from proof-of-concept to network-wide scaling in Basel.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate roadmaps into site execution plans, and ensure safety, cybersecurity, and compliance across hardware, software, and MES/SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in robotics or automation engineering or closely related field.
• 6+ years hands-on robotics deployment in regulated industries.
• Experience with CAPEX project lifecycles including commissioning, qualification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead robotics deployment projects from concept to qualification in GxP manufacturing and logistics.
• Drive feasibility studies, proof-of-concept trials and site pilot implementations.
• Translate global roadmaps into site-level execution plans.
• Establish hardware, software, safety interlocks and cybersecurity standards.
• Coordinate between development, engineering, IT/OT, quality and operations.
• Integrate robot controllers, fleet management and computer vision with MES/SCADA/ERP.
• Manage robotics vendors including RFPs, design reviews and performance monitoring.
