Job summary

agap2 Switzerland is seeking an automation professional to design, implement, qualify and improve automation systems in GMP environments. You will work on PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES projects and collaborate with engineering, production, quality and validation teams on complex investments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of GMP-regulated pharma/biotech/life science experience.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES and OT networks.
• Knowledge of automation systems and industrial communication technologies.
• Experience with Siemens, Rockwell/AB, Emerson DeltaV or Syncade is an advantage.
• GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a consulting/project-based environment.
• Good English; German is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement automation solutions in GMP environments.
• Contribute to the configuration and programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS or MES systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot automation, control and communication issues.
• Develop and improve automation standards, procedures and technical documentation.
• Support batch control, recipe management, data integrity and process monitoring activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to the delivery of strategic pharmaceutical and biotech projects.
