K‑Recruiting Life Sciences seeks an Automation Engineer to develop the site's automation strategy and ensure day-to-day reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of production equipment. The role blends hands-on PLC/SCADA work with GMP/CSV change management on the shop floor.

Based in Wallis, Switzerland, the position is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with start 12/10/26 and a 9‑month duration. Lead complex projects and coordinate with manufacturing, QA, and maintenance teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in industrial automation within GMP pharma
• Hands-on PLC/SCADA troubleshooting and HMI configuration
• Familiar with GAMP 5 and EU GMP Annex 11 / Part 11
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership

Aufgaben

• Co-develop and support the site's automation strategy
• Manage project pipelines, budgets, CAPEX/OPEX, and lifecycle planning
• Execute daily maintenance for automation hardware (PLCs, HMIs)
• Administer underlying IT infrastructure including Windows Servers and OT network security
• Oversee automation systems for critical fill/finish operations
• Ensure data integrity and CSV compliance
• Draft and update technical docs; support change control and validation
• Maintain backups and disaster-recovery procedures
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and maintenance teams
• Manage vendor SLAs and spare parts; provide on-call support
