Job summary

agap2 Switzerland is seeking an automation specialist to design, implement, and validate GMP-compliant automation solutions on-site for pharma/biotech projects in Switzerland. You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality and validation teams on complex investments and improvements.

The role requires a degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of GMP-regulated experience. English communication is essential; German is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in GMP-regulated pharma/biotech/life science environments.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI/DCS/MES or OT networks is required.
• Knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.
• Good communication in English; German is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement automation solutions in GMP environments.
• Contribute to configuration and programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS or MES systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot automation, control and communication issues.
• Develop and improve automation standards, procedures and documentation.
• Support batch control, recipe management, data integrity and process monitoring.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and client stakeholders.
