Zusammenfassung

ABB Switzerland Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to lead on-site teams responsible for installation and maintenance of ABB Gearless Mill Drives (GMD) at mining and heavy industry sites. You will coordinate mechanical work, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and report on site activities to clients and ABB teams.

Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus. The role entails global travel on short notice, including weekends and public holidays, and a hybrid work

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship as an industrial or mechanical technician/engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical site experience, preferably mining or heavy industry.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings in English.
• Willingness to travel globally on short notice, including weekends/holidays.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills a plus.

Aufgaben

• Supervise mechanical maintenance and installation of GMD at client sites.
• Coordinate on-site mechanical work based on scope and resources.
• Enforce EHS policies and brief safety before work begins.
• Guide and support local workers to perform tasks safely.
• Prepare service and installation reports and participate in site meetings.
