Our client in Valais, Switzerland, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive sales of highly technical industrial equipment across international markets. You will build long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers while developing strategies to win new business.

The role requires a technical engineering background and at least five years in technical B2B sales, with strong communication and negotiation skills and willingness to travel internationally, approximately 30-50%.

Qualifikationen

• Technical engineering background in mechanical/industrial engineering or automation.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales.
• Ability to understand technically sophisticated products and develop new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (30–50%).
• Native-level German; good command of English and French.

Aufgaben

• Promote and sell highly technical industrial equipment to an international customer base.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Develop and implement effective prospecting, sales and negotiation strategies.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Convert commercial opportunities into profitable and sustainable contracts.
• Develop and maintain a strong international network of customers and partners.
• Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Work closely with engineering, R&D and customer service teams throughout the sales process.
• Contribute market and customer insights to product development.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions and industry events.
