Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection, headquartered in Switzerland, seeks an experienced leader to design and implement technical development strategies for new products and innovative technologies. You will work across R&D and Marketing, providing agronomic expertise, market foresight, and lead global field-trial execution to deliver market-competitive products and customer value.

Qualifications

MSc or PhD in agronomy with strong crop protection expertise.
5+ years delivering development projects in country and region, with local market experience in agronomy and disease control.
Knowledge of Syngenta products and competitor products.
Experience with R&D activities in development and familiarity with fungicides.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in a multicultural environment.
Ability to translate global strategies into local approaches and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead global technical development of new AI products from field tests to launch.
Plan and coordinate harmonized field trial programs across regions.
Define technical strategies for product use and development plans.
Translate data into evidence-based recommendations for decisions.
Provide technical support to product launches and customer needs.
Lead biology activities within global teams and networks.
