Zusammenfassung

Syngenta Crop Protection AG in Münchwilen, Switzerland seeks an Agronomist (m/w/d) to join the Application Technology group. You will own end-to-end testing of product applications, developing risk-based plans and providing technical recommendations across cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires on-site work with travel as needed, a strong foundation in agronomy and crop protection technologies, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset. Fluent English is required; German is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in agronomy, biology, agricultural engineering, or related field.
• MSc and/or PhD preferred.
• Strong knowledge of crop protection application technologies and agronomy.

Aufgaben

• Own fit-for-use testing from design to data interpretation and communication.
• Define risk-based test plans and acceptance criteria for each development phase.
• Provide AT expertise to support product development across stage plans.
• Identify application risks and customer needs early and drive actions to resolution.
• Collaborate across PT&E and other functions to enable differentiated outcomes.
• Explore new testing methods and data sources for better solutions.
• Anticipate developments in equipment, automation, and digital tools and translate to testing capabilities.
• Develop improved test methods and concepts to strengthen performance and customer experience.
• Coordinate with site workshop and external providers for maintenance and upgrades.
• Drive innovation in automation, data capture, and digital tools.
• Champion HSE culture in all laboratory and field activities.
