Job summary

Try&Hire seeks an infrastructure engineer to manage a global server fleet and drive automation for high availability. You will design scalable systems, implement monitoring with VictoriaMetrics and Grafana, and ensure 99.95%+ uptime in challenging network environments.

On-call rotations, real-time visibility, and security-focused improvements across UDP/TCP/IP and VPNs like OpenVPN and WireGuard are core. On-site position in Geneva with potential for a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale server infrastructure and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Debian-based systems and NFtables.
• Proficient in Python-based automation and monitoring tooling.
• Familiarity with VPNs and secure connectivity practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize a global network of servers and automation.
• Design and implement systems to achieve 99.95%+ uptime.
• Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot across networks.
• Develop monitoring and alerting to provide real-time visibility.
• Improve connectivity, stability, performance, and security.
