Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to own reliability and performance of an enterprise-scale network. You will optimize protocols, deploy security controls, and build automation tools in Python/Go/Rust to expose capabilities via self-service APIs.

You will lead upgrades, manage data-center fabric migrations, operate telemetry pipelines, and support Kubernetes-based controllers. On-site work with a path to permanent placement after a 3–6 month interim period.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating enterprise-scale networks in production.
• Deep practical knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN VXLAN and TCP/IP.
• Experience configuring network security controls without dependence on proprietary features.
• Scripting ability in Python, Go, Rust or equivalent for automation.
• Solid Linux and DevOps fundamentals, including Terraform and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot and implement protocol-level optimizations to maximize network uptime.
• Deploy and maintain network security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS and ACLs.
• Build automation tooling in Python, Go or Rust to expose network capabilities as self-service APIs.
• Lead or contribute to network upgrades and migrations, including data center fabric changes.
• Operate and extend telemetry pipelines and Kubernetes-based network controllers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and drive post-mortems through to corrective action.
