Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Steampath Technical Leader for its Steam Turbine Engineering team.

You will own the full design lifecycle for steampath calculations and components on new unit requisition projects, leading a global team of engineers and collaborating with core design groups. You will ensure design integrity using mechanical design fundamentals, materials behavior, fatigue life methods, creep, FEA and CFD, while driving platform strategy and cross-functional PLM deliverables with LEAN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Significant steam turbine design experience.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Expertise in mechanical design fundamentals and materials behavior.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of Steampath Engineers across regions.
• Own steampath design from concept to field for stationary and rotating components.
• Ensure design integrity with CTQ, FEA, fatigue and creep analyses.
• Shape platform strategy and drive technology advancement with SILs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver PLM outputs on time.
