Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova Gas Power is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to support gas turbine refurbishment in production. You will lead and guide production specialists and cell leaders, driving process and cost improvements while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include developing repair procedures, supporting root cause analyses, and collaborating with product owners to define qualifications in repair contexts. Strong German and English skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with gas turbine platforms (e.g., GE 7F, 9F, LM2500 or equivalent).
• Cross-functional work with production teams to meet goals.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Preferred familiarity with special process requirements (coatings, welding, heat treatment).
• Lean methodologies in manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing or qualifying repair procedures in aerospace/power generation contexts.
• Ability to identify process gaps and propose improvements.
• Translate customer requirements into production outcomes.

• Provide technical support to drive closure of jobs within special processes.
• Plan, implement and improve repair procedures.
• Own process development and documentation to meet qualification requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define product/process qualifications in repair.
• Analyze problems and support RCA and CAPA for external defects.
