Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a Gas & Steam Turbine Controls Field Engineer to design retrofit control systems for industrial and utility turbine markets. The role entails hands-on field work, engineering analysis, and close collaboration with customers.

The position is remote and requires work at customer sites, with typical travel of around 50%. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, and at least 3 years in turbine controls are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Power Industry experience in Turbine Controls positions.
• Knowledge of turbine auxiliary systems including hydraulics, valve actuators, trip systems, and other mechanical components related to turbine operation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design retrofit control systems for industrial and utility steam turbine markets.
• Travel to customer job sites; remote work as required; typically 50% travel.
• Collaborate with customers to define system requirements and implement solutions.
