Job summary

VAT Group in Switzerland seeks a GSE Product Manager for Global Services to drive market and portfolio strategy across international markets. You will translate customer needs into product plans, guide introductions, and partner with sales and service to align on technical and commercial objectives.

Ideal candidates have a science/engineering degree, business acumen, and proven experience in high-tech product management; fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's degree in sciences / engineering or equivalent education.
• Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position.
• Experience in product management within a high tech international environment, preferably in the vacuum industry or critical component B2B business.
• Fluent business English skills written and spoken.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and know how to further building our customer trust and loyalty.
• Ability to provide fact driven solutions and to translate the market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sales & service organization with regards to all technical & commercial & operational aspects
• Developing service product & customer strategies based on market and competitive intelligence
• Deriving business plans from the growth strategy and directing market introduction plans
• Identify customer technical roadmaps and drive corresponding product development (spare parts, repair programs, upgrades & retrofits)
• Managing sales and profitability targets for the dedicated product families, as well as for assigned customers / key accounts and the regions
