Takeda seeks an Associate Director, Network Strategy Management, to shape and execute strategy for Takeda’s global manufacturing network. Based in Zurich or Boston, the role influences GSQ, Global Manufacturing, and operating units, and reports to the Head of GSQ Strategy.

You will own long-range capacity planning models, cost-to-serve methodologies, and decision-support tools while leading complex studies across regions and product portfolios to inform capacity and investment decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological sciences, or pharmacy.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry with financial analysis responsibility.
• Strong planning skills and cross-functional collaboration at manufacturing site or corporate function.
• Ability to develop complex models, analyse multiple scenarios, assess risks, and communicate findings clearly to senior management.

Aufgaben

• Lead or own workstreams in strategic network studies and scenario planning with Network Strategy Leads.
• Develop robust analyses and recommendations connecting strategy with financial, manufacturing, and supply considerations.
• Build adoption of common network-modelling methods and tools across regions and portfolios.
• Establish and govern standards, methodologies, data practices, and performance measures for modelling and capacity assessment.
• Chair governance reviews, clarify decision rights, and guide decisions about models, data standards, and AI use.
• Set the roadmap and operating model for AI-enabled network modelling with Digital and Data teams.
• Advise senior leaders, challenge assumptions, and build alignment around decisions with broad business impact.
• Anticipate challenges, develop risk assessments, and turn complex scenarios into actionable recommendations.
• Promote innovation, advanced analytics, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making across Network Strategy.
